From our flagship service at Heath Farm in Lincolnshire Autism Care UK has become England’s leading provider of support services to adults with autism and complex needs and we need people like you to help us stay that way!

Full and Part Time Support Workers required for our supported living service in Scopwick Lincolnshire to support our service users at our residential site

Based just outside of Sleaford, Heath Farm provides supported living for our service users who have Autism, learning disabilities and complex needs and challenging behaviour.

Person requirements

You will need to be flexible as shift work is required to include evenings, weekends and nights.

Shift patterns are on a two week rota basis and will consist of early and late shifts with sleep ins and waking nights and will include alternate weekends working.

Early shift = 7.30am to 2.30pm

Late Shift - 2.30pm to 9.30pm

Night shift - 9.30pm to 7.30am

A full driving licence is preferred due to the remote location of this service and because you may be required to drive company vehicles in order to escort our Service users to various activities within the community.

However, there is a good bus link between Lincoln and Sleaford and Scopwick and the bus stop is just outside the service which is handy for any non drivers

So, what is Autism?... Autism is a lifelong, developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with and relates to other people, and how they experience the world around them.Autistic people say the world often feels overwhelming and this can cause them considerable anxiety.

Our support workers are very important to us and are considered to be an essential part of our service. So whether you have previously worked within a similar environment or if you believe you have the life skills to compliment our service, we would love to hear from you!

Autism Care UK provide the highest standard of professional support which assists the people we support in overcoming the disabling effects of autism and other disabilities and support adults with autism to experience life opportunities which assist individuals to develop skills to their fullest ability. So whether it’s supporting someone with domestic duties or their personal care routine or taking someone shopping or to the beach, you will provide support to each individual, the way they want it.

Each day is different and there any be times where you are presented with a challenge but with the right training and support in place, we are able to give you confidence to deal with these situations, knowing that you have made a difference to someone’s life.
