Temporary Contract – 3-8 week roles available – Salary £1,500. Roles available starting in June, July and August.

Are you looking for work over the school holidays? Are you looking for a challenge that utilises your key skills of leading a team of Young People during their participation in a life-changing experience?

National Citizen Service (NCS) is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for 16 and 17 year olds, helping young people build skills for work and life, whilst taking on new challenges and meeting new friends.

We are now recruiting for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join us for our Summer NCS programme to work with Young people taking part in Lincolnshire, Leicestershire & Northamptonshire.

As an NCS Mentor you will attend a 1-2 week residential event (Monday-Friday) plus 2 following weeks facilitating the successful delivery of localised Social Action Projects. Fundamentally, you will be responsible for understanding the individual requirements of the Young People you are mentoring, utilising the information provided by parents and schools.

The ideal candidate will have experience of volunteering and working with Young People.
