Job description

Luminarium Stewards will be required for Lincoln Performing Arts Centre’s 10th Anniversary event ‘Pentalum Luminarium’ in April 2018. An experience for all which enlightens creativeness and provides a unique sensory experience. The role of the steward is to step inside the Luminarium and ensure there is a great experience for all visitors.

Further responsibilities:

  • To ensure good behaviour and safety of all visitors to the Luminarium
  • To provide a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for visitors and to engage confidently with the public
  • To provide marketing and promotional support for the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre and Architects of Air
  • To ensure the Luminarium and surrounding areas are clear and tidy of rubbish
  • To follow health and safety procedures outlined in Luminarium Steward Training
  • To handle Cash and input into tills
  • To adhere to all instruction covered in the Luminarium Steward Training

  • Good use of initiative
  • Good basic numeracy
  • Must not suffer from claustrophobia
  • Experience of fulfilling rotas and schedules
  • Experience of stewarding or working with the public

Hours per week:

  • Four days: 5th to 8th April 2018
  • Covering hours between 11am-10pm, shifts will be split depending on requirements/availability
  • All candidates must be available for the event training on Wednesday 4 April 2018.
